The Children of Courage Awards recognise and celebrate some of the most inspirational and amazing children in our region and the charities who support them. We are delighted to be shortlisted alongside some fantastic charities and look forward to the ceremony later this year!

If you get chance, spend some time outdoors, spot a beetle or two, notice the scents, or sit by the window and look or listen. The birds were singing this morning at 4.40am... I wasn't feeling too bright eyed at that hour but it was wonderful to hear them. We are surrounded by treasures. Nature helps us relax, improving our mental and physical health. And it's just outside! Have a good weekend.

We hear that The Great Outdoors is good for us, that spending time in nature can nourish and heal, and support better mental and physical health. I know this is true for me. The Great Outdoors isn't far away, it doesn't have to involve travel or cost, we are surrounded by it but are often too busy to see what it has to offer.
I am recuperating after surgery and this little chap visits me each day! Every cloud has a silver lining, perhaps you can see one too 🙂

Little wins. Every day we get at least one. Sometimes we get a lot and sometimes they are small and we don't even notice them. But they are there, honest!!
This morning I opened a new jar of coffee, and didn't leave one scrap of foil on the glass!! Little Win! Take a moment to notice the tiny good things in your day. It's gonna be a good weekend!!

Hello there, hope you had a good Christmas. Leo and I are out in the woods. Time to relax, be quiet and watch, the antidote to all the rushing around, lights and wrapping paper. There's even a bit of blue sky! We found the perfect spot to sit and try out my new flask, and what a view! Leo's not a fan of coffee, but don't worry, I packed him a biscuit! 🤩 Happy New Year!!
