We're deighted to share more progress on the development of our new community hut on Shoreham Beach, with Sussex Lofts already going above and beyond to help us to get up and running.

With the windows and roof completed last year, we're now making progress with the interior brickwork and insulation and soon first fix electrics too,

Shoreham Beach Scout Group are delighted to have been selected as one of Co-op's three Local Community Fund causes this year.

We're looking for support in the final phase of renovations for our community hut on Shoreham Beach - including accessible toilets, a new kitchen and storage units.

The hut will not just by a permanent base for the Scout Group, but a flexible space that will be available for use for other local community groups and clubs.

Thank you to Sussex Express for covering Shoreham Beach Scout Group's Tour De Beach event. It was a really great evening. We're looking forward to welcoming our Scouts of all ages back to meetings in September!

Scouts have cycled and scooted on a fundraising Tour de Beach as the bid to raise money to renovate their hut continues.

Thank you to all those who came, sold and browsed at the Adur Rec car boot sale yesterday! We had a lot of wonderful feedback from sellers, buyers, vendors. It was a really successful day and Shoreham Beach Scouts appreciate all the support from our fantastic Shoreham-by-Sea community!

Huge kudos to our team of Marshalls and litter pickers who did a fantastic job from 5am-2pm to make this possible!

🙏 A massive THANK YOU to everyone who took part in our sponsored bike ride, or pledged a donation in support of our young people. 🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️🚴🚴‍♀️

We've now totted up the sponsorship money, and we've raised just over £1,000, which will go towards the final fit out of our new hut.

🚴‍♂️ Sponsored bike ride!🚴‍♂️

For our last session of the term this week the Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers all came together for a sponsored bike ride from Beach Green to the bandstand in Lancing to raise more money for our hut renovation.

There were some tired legs at the end - thanks to all who supported and sponsored our young people.

And thanks to all of the leaders and volunteers of the Group for another amazing term of activities.
