πŸ’™ Good luck to our Boys in Blue as they represent Scotland on the world stage! πŸ’™

As the nation gets behind the team, we thought we'd share this throwback from one of our sessions with the Eco Group at Arran High School.

When discussing climate change and global warming, the class was asked to create some protest signs. Their response?

⚽ The Planet is Hotter than John McGinn and Scott McTominay...apparently!

Their words, not ours! πŸ˜‚

While we might not be able to settle that debate, we can all agree that we'll be cheering Scotland on every step of the way.

Good luck lads, do us proud! πŸ’™πŸ΄σ §σ ’σ ³σ £σ ΄σ Ώ

🌍 What Is Climate Action, And What Does It Mean to You? 🌍

We hear the phrase "climate action" all the time, but what does it actually mean?

For some people, climate action means cycling instead of driving.
For others, it means growing food, reducing waste, repairing broken items, saving energy at home, or supporting local businesses.

Climate action doesn't have to be complicated, expensive, or all-consuming. It can be the small, everyday choices we make that help create a healthier, more resilient future for our communities.

As we begin our new Arran Community Climate Action project, we'd love to hear from you:

πŸ’š What does climate action mean to you?
πŸ’š What climate-friendly actions are you already taking?
πŸ’š What would help you do more?

There are no right or wrong answers. Whether you've installed solar panels, started composting, switched to a reusable water bottle, or simply walk more often than you used to, every action matters.

Share your thoughts in the comments below and let's start a conversation about what climate action looks like on Arran.

πŸ‘‡ so tell us, what does climate action mean to you?

πŸ₯•πŸž FOOD SHARE VOLUNTEERS WANTED – CORRIE 🍎πŸ₯¬

Could you spare a little time every few weeks to help reduce food waste and support our community?

We're looking for volunteers in Corrie to help with the Food Share project. Our amazing network of volunteers collects surplus food from the 3 Coops helping to ensure good food doesn't go to waste and remains available to the community.

Whether you can help regularly or occasionally, we'd love to hear from you.

Volunteering is flexible, rewarding, and makes a real difference to both people and the planet!

Interested? Get in touch by emailing [email protected].

Heat rising. Floods. Stronger storms.

The planet’s signals are everywhere. 🌍

But so is change. Clean energy is scaling. Nature is being restored. Communities are coming together to take action.

The solutions are here, and now is the time to act

Over the coming months we’ll be deep diving into climate change, exploring the solutions available to us and how our communities can become more resilient to the impacts already being felt across the world and here at home on Arran.

Every conversation, every action and every small change matters. Together, we can build a healthier, fairer and more sustainable future.
