Thank you to everyone who attended the Newbold History Talk | Tramway200. One of the objectives was to support Newbold Village Hall with doing something for the community, and from the questions 'n chatter I hope that we helped to achieve that. Thank you also for bringing your knowledge and memories of the tramway, and for sharing it. Together, we each know more.

At Shipston Museum we never quite know what's going to happen - that's part of the joy. Will it be children popping into see the LEGO model of GWR Shipston Station and to explore the handling collection of fossils 'n pottery, or residents and a passerby with tales to tell?

Today Shipston Museum is open at the usual time of 12 noon to 4pm. We are also just down the road supporting Newbold Village Hall (CV37 8TU) with the Newbold History Talk | Tramway200 which starts at 2:30pm. Expect to see unseen photographs and a few delicate Tramway items that aren't on display in Shipston Museum. Talk tickets £5 on the door. Light refreshments available.

Dorn: A Roman Settlement on the Move

Just north of Moreton-in-Marsh, Dorn was once a busy roadside settlement alongside the Roman Fosse Way. From the 1st to 4th centuries AD, Dorn hosted travellers, traders, and residents in a community shaped by Roman and native British traditions.
