The GoodSide CIC We’re a Sheffield-based community organisation supporting children, women, and families with fun activities, empowering workshops, and positive opportunities.

Our aim is to help people step onto the good side of life! We’re a fun, friendly, community-powered organisation based in Sheffield, here to bring joy, confidence, and connection to children, young people, women, and families. We believe everyone deserves a chance to step onto the good side of life, the side filled with opportunity, positivity, and a real sense of belonging. From action-packed children’s activities and holiday clubs to empowering workshops and creative sessions for women, we’re all about helping people grow, smile, and feel supported. Our sessions are designed to lift spirits, build confidence, and bring our community closer together. What makes us special? We listen, we care, and we create spaces where everyone feels welcome. Look what our kiddies have been exploring this morning!

Not everything has to be paid for. Some of the best things are free from nature.

From searching for acorns to spotting butterflies with magnifying glasses, we’re getting our children outdoors, curious, exploring and enjoying all the little things nature gives us for free.

Let’s get them embracing and enjoying our gift from nature. ❤️

We’re taking our nature sessions up a notch! 🎧

Come and join us for this amazing FREE outdoor wellbeing & sound workshop at Centenary Riverside Nature Reserve.

A chance to get outdoors, slow down, try something completely different and experience nature in a new way through guided listening, exploring and sound recording.

What a lovely day we had at our Petals & Lunch workshop !

A thank you to Bethan from The Rosehip Project, Lucy from Sheffield Wildlife Trust and Alpha Taxis for helping make this such a memorable day for our ladies.

It was such a chilled and fun afternoon, from flower picking and dye hammering, to sunflower seeding, and we topped it all off with a delicious lunch.

Just a really lovely day outdoors, trying something different, switching off and enjoying some time together.

Thank you to everyone who helped make it so special. ❤️

We’re back on!

Our women’s rounders sessions are starting again, and we’re looking forward to getting everyone back together for some fun and movement!

Our first few sessions will be outdoors, and hopefully from session 3 onwards we’ll be moving indoors, venue to be confirmed.

A big thank you again to Everyone Active for continuing to collaborate with us and support these sessions.

Looking forward to another great run of sessions! ❤️
