Another thank you post to all of you. Thank you to everyone that signed up, came to support at the finish line, donated, shared and just reached out to wish us luck.

An amazing amount of money has been raised and we know what a difference it will make đź’™

Today we would like to share with you Ted's Story from his mummy Stacey -

Our baby boy, Ted was born at 38 + 2 weeks but sadly due to complications during birth, he suffered a brain injury. He bravely fought for 8 days before we had to say our goodbyes and that's when we were told by the hospital staff, about Remember my baby.

Our photographer, Layla, captured the most precious photos for us and we will be forever grateful for her respect & kindness throughout.

On the 6th of September we created Ted's Trek which saw 50 of our friends & family join us to walk 16 miles over the Sheffield hills in memory of him. It was important to us that one of the charities we raised for was Remember my baby, so other families who walk this path have access to these precious memories.

Thank you đź’™

On behalf of all of the team here at Remember My Baby we would like to say a massive thank you to Stacey and her friends and family for choosing us to fundraise for in memory of your beautiful boy Ted. Your kind donations allow us to offer this service to as many bereaved families as possible.

Today we visited the neonatal unit.

We wanted to give back for all their amazing care during the 8 days Ted fought.

We finally donated the amazing amount you all helped raise at the beginning of the year - Thank you again, we know how much it makes a difference.

Something else we wanted to donate were sibling bags. Ivy wanted all the other big brothers and sisters to have something to help in some way and so we began collecting things to add.

So proud of her ✨

🌟 Ted’s Trek – Join Us! 🌟

Saturday 6th September

⏰ Start time- around 9am meeting at the Admiral Rodney

🚶 Approx. 14 miles | Loxley to Chapeltown

ETA- largely depends your legs but around 5ish

We’d love for you to join us for Ted’s Trek, a special walk in memory of our beautiful boy, Ted. We’ll be setting off from the Admiral Rodney in Loxley, making our way through the countryside via Bradfield, Wharncliffe Side and Grenoside, and finishing in Chapeltown.

This will be a relaxed countryside walk, mainly along public footpaths with just a small amount of road walking. We’ll be stopping along the way for drinks, snacks, and toilet breaks — full details to follow closer to the time.

We want as many people there as possible and fundraising but be warned, there's some hills, there's some fields with livestock, and the walk isn't child friendly bar the last leg from Grenoside woods to Chapeltown. So if you want yours kids there, I recommend joining for the last downhill 4 miles.

And there's me- chronically unfit but looking to raise money for charities that have helped in our darkest days this year.

đź’™ To take part:
It’s £10 per person, which includes your own Ted’s Trek t-shirt.

To sign up, please message Dan or Stacey directly.

Deadline to sign up: 1st August
Either on here in the comments, messenger or WhatsApp 07879267474

We’re walking to raise funds for two charities that have supported us so much over the past 6.5 months:

💛 Teddy’s Wish

đź“· Remember My Baby

We’d love your help in spreading the word and raising even more. You can:

✨ Set up your own fundraising page

✨ Ask us for a sponsor form

✨ Or share our fundraising link

Every step taken and every penny raised is in memory of our precious Ted đź’™

I've walked nearly every step of this route now and whilst starting of ending in places that mean alot to us, there's some spectacular sights of the (large) hills of Sheffield

Thank you so much,
Dan and Stacey (Ted's Mummy & Daddy)
