On Friday 6 September 2024 I travelled to Liberia on an SNBIHP mission to distribute supplies to newborn babies and mothers at the ELWA hospital as well as visit the Robert Moore Memorial Healthcare Centre to assess the room that we will be converting into a neonatal unit for premature babies’ care. Twenty mothers (and babies) received supplies at ELWA hospital. We also had the opportunity to have meaningful discussions with the leadership at the hospital, visit with the King’s Kids project as well as meet a social worker supporting abandoned underage mothers at the hospital. Please see pictures and videos of the trip attached. There is a lot of work to be done, and we will need all hands on deck! Thanks to all who have supported our work so far. Thanks also to our strong team on the ground in Liberia.
