Oh my goodness! Words cannot describe how proud of Louise we are !!!

🌟 Introducing the magnificent Harry The Handsome! 🌟

I am absolutely thrilled to share the completed mixed-media portrait of Harry, the gorgeous boy who was drawn at random as the lucky winner of my recent portrait competition.

✨There is a beautiful piece of synchronicity behind this painting. As you know, I had already created this atmospheric background—featuring a misty moonlit path running between silver birch trees. When Harry’s name was picked, his stunning black-and-white coat matched the exact energy of the woodland perfectly! 🌲🌕

To permanently lock his victory into the canvas, I have delicately inscribed his name into the tree bark on the right flank. Layering this piece with deep alcohol inks, white fluid splatters allowed me to anchor his handsome spirit right into the painting. 🎨

🖌️📅 Exciting News: Harry’s masterpiece will be officially featured inside the 2027 Sheffield Retired Greyhounds calendar! Keep your eyes peeled for release dates, as this calendar is going to be an absolute treasure trove for sighthound lovers.

A little work in progress update on our 2027 calendar portrait winner for Sheffield Retired Greyhounds
Handsome Harry.

There's still a lot of work to do, as you can see, but he's coming along nicely ❤️

Once Harrys painting is finished it will complete my artwork for the calendar which will be available from Sheffield Retired Greyhounds.

There will also be Christmas cards available created from my artwork..

All proceeds will go to this wonderful charity
