Over 2 million children already have happy Kings Camps memories - in fact it’s so much fun, children come back year after year, with many joining our Rookie Academy programme and then going on to work with us! 🏓⚽🏒⛹️‍♀️ Summer sports with Kings Camps near Manchester

📆 Running from 27 Jul to 21 Aug, Kings Camps at Cheadle Hulme School, offers sports and activity camps for ages 5 to17, with more than thirty activities, including games, team challenges and themed days.

This Foster Care fortnight, we’re sharing feedback from Foster Care families who have attended Kings Camps, whilst shining a light on the everyday experiences of fostering.

Through our Supporting Families programme we’ve provided funded places for children; helping to ease some of the pressures Foster Carers face whilst providing positive experiences for children in their care.

11 May to 24 May is The Fostering Network Foster Care Fortnight 2026, and this years campaign theme is ‘This is Fostering'.

So we’ve asked some of our members who have received subsidised places through our Supporting Families programme to kindly share their experience of Kings Camps, whilst shining a light on the everyday experiences of fostering, the positive impact Foster Carers have and the pressures they face.

"Kings Camps has been amazing for our family. Both for the positive impact on our young people but also for us as Foster Carers. It can be full on at times but Kings Camps gives us time to decompress and attend meetings knowing that our kids are safe and happy on camp". Foster Carer, Loughborough
