They’re Off! Don’t Miss Our Family Race Night 🏇

A couple of weeks ago we shared details of our Family Race Night on Saturday 7th March – and we’d really love to see more of you there.

This isn’t just a fundraiser… it’s genuinely a brilliant, laugh-out-loud, cheer-your-horse-home kind of evening. The sort of night where children get excited, adults get competitive, and everyone leaves smiling.

We’d love to pack the room out and make it a great evening for the whole Group.
🏇 Family Race Night
Saturday 7th March
Doors open: 5:30pm
First race: 6:00pm
It’s a relaxed, family-friendly event (all children must be supervised by a parent/carer), with plenty of friendly competition and a cheeky bet or two.
🍽 Food Included
Adults – £10.00
Homemade steak pie or vegetarian pie, served with peas and gravy
Children – £5.50
Burger or vegetarian burger
(Children who would prefer pie & peas will need an adult ticket)
Vegetarian options are available for all.
It’s also a bring-your-own drinks evening.
🏆 Sponsor a Race – £25
There are still some of our 10 race sponsorships available. Sponsors get to randomly draw the race number on the night — a fun way to support the Group even further.

🏇 Family Race Night – A Fun Fundraising Evening!

Join us for what will be a brilliant night of racing at our Family Race Night event on Saturday 7th March, and help support 105th Scout Group while enjoying a lively, sociable evening with friends and family.

Expect plenty of laughs, friendly competition, and that unmistakable race-night fun as we cheer on the horses and enjoy a cheeky flutter or two in a relaxed, family-friendly setting.

Doors open at 5:30pm, with the first race at 6:00pm.

We're so excited to mark three special Scout birthdays next year for Squirrels, Beavers and Cubs!

This marks the anniversary of the UK wide launch of these sections, building on pioneering work before then for Beavers and Squirrels in Northern Ireland.

Have a look for Dwayne opening our new HQ building. We were honoured he was able to carry out this important task just before his appointment as Chief Scout was announced 🤩⚜️
