This Volunteers' Week, we want to say a huge thank you to all of the incredible volunteers who give their time, energy, skills and passion to support the work of Parson Cross Forum.

Every week, our volunteers help us deliver a wide range of activities, projects and services that make a real difference to people across our community. Whether they're welcoming participants, supporting groups, sharing their expertise, helping behind the scenes, or simply offering a friendly face and listening ear, their contribution is invaluable.

Volunteers are at the heart of what we do. Their dedication helps us create opportunities, build connections and support local people to thrive.

💜 Our Cancer Support Group continues at Parson Cross Forum, in partnership with the Weston Park, Big Purple Bus.💜

Have you or someone close to you been impacted by cancer? You are not alone.

Our friendly and welcoming Cancer Support Group offers a safe space where people can come together to talk, listen, share experiences, and support one another. Whether you are living with cancer, recovering, caring for a loved one, or coping with loss, you’ll always find a warm welcome here.

✨ Come along to:
💜 Share your experiences in a supportive environment
💜 Meet others who understand what you may be going through
💜 Find encouragement, friendship, and new connections
💜 Enjoy a relaxed and informal atmosphere

There’s no pressure and no need to book — you can simply drop in to a session whenever you feel ready.

St Thomas More Church have organised their annual Parish Trip to Scarborough for Wednesday 5th August.
Places are now available to parishioners from both parishes. £15 for adults and £8 for children.
