Wow, amazing effort from Siobhan - the Dirty Reiver ride and a huge fundraise, which is being split between us, Sheffield Cycling 4 All, and Experience Community. We are very grateful, Siobhan! This helps us provide affordable and individualised climbing sessions for everyone! Thank you!!😀 PS supercool photo😎

Siobhan completed the Dirty Reiver ride on 25th April and raised a whopping £2,700, to be split between us, Climbing for All Sheffield and Experience Community.

Your ride is an incredible achievement, congratulations and well done! And THANK YOU!

Siobhan is a regular cyclists at our trail centre at Parkwood Springs and is a member of our Steering group

Lots of life experience packed into the Sheffield Adventure Film Festival weekend .... and it's not just films at SHAFF, there are also plenty of events, a lot of them free to attend. We have some fun things in our equipment boxes. Clare & Rose are both wearing standard climbing harnesses for starters. Plus Clare is using our bespoke sit harness for climbers wanting wall interaction with posture support. And Rose is about to put a slab of rigid foam to use.
Does this sit harness have a name, we ask. “Nigel!” says Nick 😆
And what can we call this low-tech chunk of foam? “It’s a foot alignment block!” says Csilla 😂

One of our fab volunteers is raising money for MND Association - a great cause! Csilla is an OT by day & has met quite a few of our climbers before they ever ventured to the climbing wall. She's also supported our climbers living with MND. Csilla says the distance is a challenge for her and she's running through blood, sweat and ..errm... snow !! 😅
