🥾🥾🥾'500 MILE SPONSORED WALK' - Raising Money for A Public Bleed Kit❤️

We are still walking!! Staff, children and families and our supporters have been sedning in the miles they have walked so far.

Today staff are walking around Lady Bower and our children continue to do daily walks around the track we have set up in the nursery garden 🙂

Thank you to everyone who has walked, donated and supprted us so far 😍

This Friday we are having a cake stall & a nearly new stall from 8am outside Nursery 🙂

We had an amazing morning with our children and their parents at the High Hazels Park Sponsored Walk. Our children were absolute stars ⭐️⭐️ They walked 2.32 miles⭐️⭐️ Thank you so much to everyone who came along to support our childrena and our fundrasing efforts🙂

You can email the nursery to put in your order. Please remeber if you are trnasfering to do thid befre you collect your food or you can pay cash on colection. Collection between 12.45pm and 1.15pm. 🥾🥾🥾🥾We are Walking 500 Miles 🥾🥾🥾🥾

The Darnall Community Nursery Community and its friends, families and partners are attempting to walk 500 miles to raise money for our nursery.

The childrens sponsored walks and nursery activities sart this week and end on 24th April.

WE HOPE TO RAISE £1,000 TO PAY FOR A PUBLIC BLEED CONTROL KIT WHICH WE WILL INSTALL & MAINTAIN OUTSIDE THE NURSERY NEXT TO THE DEFRIBULATOR ON STANIFORTH ROAD❤️

If you can help and want to join in the fun here’s what you need to do:
Sponsor us by contacting us at the nursery.

Do your own walk or several shorter walks (even if it’s only walking for half an hour a day).

ASK PEOPLE TO SPONSOR YOU PER MILE, (We suggest £2.00 per mile but it’s up to you)

Whatever walk you decide to do, keep a check of the distance you have walked and send us either a photo of your walk or a screen shot of the distance you have walked from your phone, and we will add the distance to our milage chart.

Its so nice to get the opportunity to go out in the sunshine and our ‘free rangers’ have been making the most of it, looking for the signs of Spring in our garden. They looked at the different plants, flowers and insects. Inspired by what they found they made some lovely natural collages 🙂

How lucky are we!! We have hatched five out of our seven chickens!! They are adorable. The children have been very excited to come in and follow the chicks journey. Some of our children have even decided to give four of them a name, Cutie, Sarah, Chicky and Jemima. I think you will agree they are very cute 😊
