Service for Holy Week & Easter

This is a special time for all Christians, you are invited to journey with us through the events of Holy Week culminating in the celebration of the resurrection.

PALM SUNDAY 13th April
10.30am All Age Service reflecting the events of Holy Week

MAUNDY THURSDAY 17th April
7.30PM Service of Holy Communion reflecting on the last supper.

GOOD FRIDAY 18th April
11am - 1pm Easter activities for children and families
11am - 1pm Space for Reflection and Quiet
1pm Short Good Friday Service with readings and prayers.

EASTER DAY 20th April
10.30am Alleluia He is Risen! Service of Holy Communion.

In response to the awful stabbing at All Saints Catholic School we offer our prayers and our tears.

The Chapel at St Mary’s is open daily for anyone who may wish to pray or light a candle.



We prayer for all those affected by this dreadful event

Particularly for the family who have lost their child

We pray against the rise of knife crime

And that our children may be safe from harm

Gift to all involved a deep sense of your peace.

It's Epiphany today is the last day for our Christmas tree and its angel prayers - but our prayers and our activities move continue on into 2025.

Christmas 2024

St Mary’s would like to take this opportunity of wishing all staff, supporters and volunteers every good wish for the Christmas Season and the coming New Year.
The last few weeks have been difficult at St Mary’s as we have had to face the reality of a significant funding shortfall. Unfortunately, we have not been able to secure the grant funding we had hoped for and as a result we are now having to consider making some staff posts redundant.
During this time, we shall try to continue as far as possible our existing Community Support Services. However, we hope you will appreciate this may not be the case and we ask for your patience and understanding during this difficult time.
We realise that St Mary’s is an important space for many people, and we remain committed to continuing to develop services and activities which help to alleviate poverty and social isolation.
