On any STEM project, you identify a problem or area of interest and then, you consult the experts. This journey is no different.

We want to build sustainable and lasting change to give students even better STEM learning opportunities to Portsmouth.

We are delighted to announce that our expertise will be provided by some world leading STEM Educational experts.

This is is the first 3 leaders of the event, there are another 8 to be released, keep an eye on the STEMunity website over the next week to see the full line up.

Amazing!

Yes!!!!!! 🎉

FINALLY after 7 attempts I got a sharp image of the international Space Station flying in front of the Sun!

At exactly 12:36pm and 30 seconds - line of sight meant from a location 20 miles south of me the ISS would Transit in front of the Sun this would only last 0.67 seconds.

This imaged was achieved by using my camera and a 100-400mm lens with a 1.4 extender AND a solar filter

I’m so happy!! I’ve tried over a year for this!
