Busy morning at our Friendly Space in Teynham, funded by Kent Community Foundation today, at the Community Hall on Station Road. The kettle was on for a cuppa and biscuits, and there was lots of lively chat and laughter throughout the morning. Lovely to meet lots of new members joining us for the first time. We held our regular Book Club, as well as creating our own Christmas cards, and holding a raffle. Sophie from Kent County Council Kent Digital was on hand with support for all our digital devices. Sonia also joined us from One You Kent to give members the opportunity to get a health MOT. Sonia will be a regular visitor to our Teynham group so pop along if you'd like advice on making healthy lifestyle choices, giving up smoking or losing weight.

Mission Statement

Friendly Faces of Kent is a dedicated, welcoming and approachable charity supporting adults suffering with the effects of isolation and loneliness - we believe by providing our Members with friendship, inclusion, encouragement and an arena to be heard, we will be able to make a vast difference to their lives.

Friendly Faces of Kent support adults through a group centred approach, offering a range of innovative and high quality sessions to promote and encourage our Members to reconnect with their wider community - delivered by Professionals, Support Workers and Volunteers who together have had their own personal experiences of isolation and loneliness.
