Gosforth Parish Council is delighted to announce that they have secured a £500,000 grant from the Mid-Copeland GDF Community Partnership for Phase 2 of a £1.2million refurbishment project on the public hall. The grant is over two funding years with the nine-month project commencing July 2026. Phase 2 will see the main hall fully refurbished and extended with a new kitchen, solar panels and improved access to and around the building. The newly refurbished Library, Supper Room, and small meeting room will be available for hire during the project.
