Clint's Foundation

Clint's Foundation Clint's Foundation(formerly Detox club) is a safe place for anyone over 18 years old in North Lincol

In 2015 Active Recovery established 'The Detox Club', working closely with service users to create a comfortable and confidential space to build integration and social skills. In late 2017, the philosophy of The Detox Club was furthered with the creation of a constitution which includes staff and service users as members. In April of 2018, The Detox Club was successful in securing National Lottery

'Awards for All' funding for the year, this enabled us to provide family activities and community events which encouraged service users to have free sessions fishing, golfing, cooking, and engaging in craft activities. In November 2019 we had the sad news that our Chairman Clint has passed away - the group decided to rename the community group in his memory to 'Clint's Foundation'. The activities and support provided help to reduce stigma within our community and aim to build confidence and aid integration within our community.

Clint’s Foundation (Formerly “The Detox Club”)

In 2015 Active Recovery established “The Detox Club”, working closely with Service Users to create a comfortable and confidential space to build integration and social skills.

In late 2017 the philosophy of The Detox Club was furthered yet again with the creation of a constitution which includes staff and service users as members.

In April of 2018, The Detox Club was successful in securing National Lottery Awards for All Funding for the year, this has enabled us to provide family activities and community events which encourage Service Users to have free sessions fishing, golfing, cooking and engaging in craft activities. Following on from this the group also received funding from the PCC and The Tribune Trust.
