Many thanks to the Duncan Family at Balmalcolm Clydesdales in Fife for hosting our BHS Scotland Volunteers Thank You Day today 👏👏🐴 - so much effort was put in by them all to make this special day for our Volunteers during Volunteers Week such a success.

Official photos will follow from Jim Crichton Media however here are a few highlights from the day.

The day involved a tour of the working horses equipment by Benny Duncan - so much work had been put into this day by them setting everything out for us. This was followed by seeing the Clydesdales and of course the two minis, presentation of BHS Awards and a picnic lunch. Congratulations to everyone who won an award - full details will be with the official photographs. We then had an opportunity to see how the experts got one of their Clydesdales ready for competing and we got all the horses weighed.

We also had a visit from Derek Knottenbelt and Jenny Croft from Vets with Horsepower to have their hiviz and stickers presented for their forthcoming trip that BHS has continued to support.

Great day at the Scottish Riding Club Championships today. BHS Scotland were supporting some of the classes.

Good turnout for the Netherton Equestrian Style Jumping Qualifier for Scone Palace International Horse Trials - well done to everyone who qualified 👏👏

29 ponies/ horses weighed and fat scored and 6 In Great Shape rosettes given out 👏👏

He is a British Eventing Master Coach and Fellow of the British Horse Society. He is a renowned International coach and was coach to the 2012 Belgium Olympic Eventing team. He has represented Ireland the Olympics, World and European Eventing Championships, winning 2 bronze team medals. 🥉
90 minute small group sessions on Saturday 27th and/or Sunday 28th June, at Foresterseat.
Open to all, PC, RC, (un)affiliated, all ages and stages from 50cm to 1.10m+.
