As it is Deaf Awareness Week and this year’s theme is “Right to Understand – Together, We Break Barriers”, we’re proud to share what we do at Sensory Services by Sight for Surrey 💙

We host monthly Coffee Mornings in Woking and Redhill, bringing the Deaf community together in a welcoming and accessible space. Each session often includes a guest speaker, sharing useful information in your first language- British Sign Language (BSL).

Want to know more? Check out our page for upcoming dates and guest speakers for each month!

Excited to announce that Sensory Services by Sight for Surrey are on the move!

From May 2026, the new charity HQ will be at Bridgehead House, 215 Barnett Wood Lane, Ashtead, Surrey, KT21 2DF

At a short walk from Ashtead station, with excellent bus links to Leatherhead, Dorking and Epsom and a range of shops, this freshly refurbished space, we will better support the children and adults we work with across Surrey.

All services and contact details remain the same, and support continues as normal during the move. Appointments at our new Resource Centre will begin late May.

CEO Clare Burgess shared:
“This is a positive step forward, giving us a more suitable space for everyone we support. I look forward to welcoming you to our new home!”
