On Saturday 20th June the Lions Club of Salisbury & District carried out PSA testing for 168 men of whom, PSA testing is used to identify those men who may be more likely to have Prostate Cancer. By the next day 134 men had received a green result which means they can go on to a regular testing schedule.. However 16 men received an email telling them the test was Amber and they should inform their GP. 18 men received a red result which advises them that their PSA was at a level indicating that they should see their GP as soon as possible..

Regarding the sad passing of Lion Sandy Yates. Her family's having a Celebration of life for her. Anyone wishing to celebrate Sandy's life is welcome. It's at the United reform church in Salisbury on the 30th April 13.00. No flowers please. There will be a donation plate which will go to a charity of her family's choice. No dress code but Sandy loved bright and cheerful colours.
