1st Shrewton Scout Group - Beavers, Cubs and Scouts

Yesterday evening, the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts came together for a joyful summer evening in the woods at GUL Riverside. They ran through clouds of coloured power, dodged parents armed with water pistols and navigated obstacles, before being rewarded with gorgeous medals, goodie bags and ice creams. Thank you so much to our trustees for organising this event for us 🏃‍♀️🌈💦🏅🍦⚜️

It is with great sadness that we have lost a dear friend and scouter. For over 20 years John Davis led our Scout troop and supported our group and was well renowned for his camp fires and his imaginative and adventurous activities. John's family would love to invite past and present scouters to John's celebration of life so we can all share our stories and remember him in the way he would have wished. Please see details below.

Our Scout troop enjoyed a (mostly) sunny camp at the Girl Guiding centre in Berwick St James last weekend. The young people got stuck into pitching/striking tents, cooking, campfires, pioneering, geocaching and games. Thank you again to all the volunteers who make these camps possible 🔥⛺️⚜️
