On today's trip an elderly gentleman showed fantastic dance moves on dance floor. It was lovely to watch have people enjoyed themselves this afternoon in Blackpool.

Today we tuck our our coffee morning group out to Blackpool Tiffany's Hotel for young in heart event with live entertainment and 3 curse meal. They really enjoyed snd asked as to book it for Christmas. It was so nice to see happy faces and that the music brought back so many nice memories .

We had fantastic coffee morning this morning at sheltered housing and we done some dot to do and also done se colouring competition and the schemes coordinator Rachel won a prize for best work. Elderly people had some fun and enjoyed themselves. This coffee morning is for elderly with dementia and other mental health problems who is struggling to connect with other people outside they residential place.

Can we ask community þo vote for our coffee morning which we are running for 2 years now for our community elderly people and people with disabilities. We are based at Wharton and Cleggs Lane Church and community centre. We got people with disabilities, dementia and elderly people attending. If we won't secure this funding we sadly will have to close our coffee morning after Christmas which will make very hard impact on residents of little Hulton and our volunteers. People won't be having safe place where to go and will loose they only friends they have. At the moment we can only keep our coffee morning running until Christmas. Please vote for our coffee morning to we can carry on support our community vulnerable people. Thankyou.

Despite yesterday's post advising to leave your dogs at home and not in your car we are still getting calls for distressed dogs in cars.

Your dog doesn't want to be left in the car whilst you 'just nip here and there'

We all know how hot it is currently (even in the shade) and any breeze is warm.

In this weather we wouldn't sit in our car for 5 minutes with no air conditioning running or the windows down slightly

We have already had to deal with one fatality and too many close calls that are so easily avoidable 😢
