The Lowry in association with The Booth Charities, would like to offer families in Salford the opportunity to see three live theatre performances at The Lowry for FREE and take part in creative activities together.

An exclusive scheme to support families of children with additional needs to visit and enjoy the theatre together.

The Booths Charities Family Scheme 2026-2027 is now open for applications for families of children with additional needs up to the age of 25 and living in Salford.

Families are invited to attend three relaxed performances throughout the year to have their first theatre experiences together. This year join us to watch performances such as The Very Hungry Caterpillar, The Jolly Christmas Postman and The Last Wild.

A home ed session of two halves this week again....with the addition of "HOME EDS' GOT TALENT!" in the second half *as requested last week 😁

Dim lights • gentle sounds • calming sensory play • chilled-out/relaxing vibes
Followed by
Louder sounds/upbeat music • dancing • active sensory play & "HOME EDS' GOT TALENT!"

12 till 2pm for children and young people of all ages, all home educating families are welcome, no personal details are required.
This is a facilitated session, not a structured taught activity.
An opportunity to meet other home educated families in an accessible welcoming community space 🤗
Parents/carers to stay on site.
£3.50 1st child, £1.50 2nd sibling, 50p other siblings

The session is 12 till 2pm and for children and young people of all ages, all home educating families are welcome, no personal details are required.

We have a creative area with a selection of materials on offer, create as you wish, plus an opportunity to continue art from last week.

We have some guided activities or you are free to create as you wish!

This weeks home ed session is a little different, this time of year its a new start for many who have chosen to home educate (and get in touch about the home ed groups!)

So...

This session is 12 till 2pm and for children and young people of all ages, all home educating families are welcome, no personal details are required.

It's a free creative session: create and take home, create something for our Salford 100 exhibition or do both! 🙂

Tomorrow/Saturday's Salford 100 sessions are both postponed until next week, the family session will be taking place on Friday 4-6pm, adults session to be confirmed soon. 🙂
