Tonight, Richard & Emma are taking on the Blackpool 7.5K! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Richard and Emma, who are both part of the Homeless Health Team, are putting their trainers on tonight and taking on the Blackpool 7.5K to raise much-needed funds for Hope House!

We’re incredibly grateful for their support and for helping us raise awareness of the work we do supporting people experiencing homelessness. We are so proud of you both!

If you can spare anything at all, please consider donating via the JustGiving link below. Every donation, big or small, will make a real difference. 🙏

A huge thank you to Ben Griffiths for coming to the rescue with a much needed toaster after ours finally gave up on us (mid-toast… tragic scenes).

Tea without toast just isn’t the same, and morale was starting to dip! Thanks to Ben, we’re back in business and the toast is flowing again.

We really appreciate your kindness ❤️

Our clients (and our breakfasts) definitely do too!

There’s something quietly powerful about putting on clean, comfortable clothing. It’s more than just fabric, it’s a sense of dignity, a layer of warmth, and a small step toward feeling human again.

For those experiencing homelessness, that simple change can mean so much more. Fresh clothes can help restore confidence, provide comfort against the elements, and offer a moment of relief from the daily challenges they face.

Sometimes, it’s these small, practical acts of kindness that remind someone they are seen, valued, and worthy of care.

A simple donation, but one that can make a real difference.

There’s something quietly powerful about sitting down with a bit of art or a simple craft. It’s more than just passing time, it’s a chance to focus, to create, and to give your mind a break from everything else going on.

For those experiencing homelessness, that moment can mean even more. Picking up a pen, a paintbrush, or even just colouring in can help settle racing thoughts, reduce stress, and offer a sense of purpose, even if only for a short while.

Sometimes, it’s these small, creative moments that remind us we still have something to express, something to build, and something that’s ours. A simple activity, but a powerful way to reconnect with ourselves.

There’s something simple but powerful about a warm cup of tea. It’s more than just a drink, it can bring a moment of calm, a chance to pause, and a small sense of comfort in the middle of a difficult day.

For those experiencing homelessness, that warmth can mean even more. It can help ease the cold, settle the mind, and offer a brief feeling of safety and normality when things feel uncertain.

Sometimes, it’s the smallest things that remind us we’re human, that we matter, and that we’re not alone.

Hope House is open from 9:00am – 3:00pm

A warm, safe space is available for those experiencing homelessness, with access to hot and cold food and drinks, shower facilities, and laundry services. Support is here at Hope House.

Today we say a very fond farewell to our wonderful Sarah as she leaves the Hope Centre team to relocate and start an exciting new job. ❤️

Sarah first joined us as a volunteer at Hope House, giving her time, kindness and support to our service users. Since September, she has been an important part of our Crisis Cafe team as a Crisis Cafe Advocate, supporting people when they have needed it most.

Although we are sad to see you leave, Sarah, we are so pleased that you will be coming back to volunteer with us — so it’s not really goodbye! 🥰

Thank you for everything you have given to Hope House and Crisis Cafe. You will be missed by us all, and we wish you every happiness and success in your new chapter. 🌟
