Sadly the Indian Queens Funday due to be held at the pit by Bunty’s Balloons and Occasions this Bank Holiday Monday has been cancelled because of the weather forecast. 👎

It was great to see this new event take place earlier this summer though and we hope it will return.

Due to concerns around weather related safety in The Pit, we must once again move our Proms to the fabulous Indian Queens Victory Hall!

Same fabulous mix of patriotic classics and modern favourites, but a lot less slippery!

☕️ THE MEN’S PIT STOP IS COMING BACK TO THE PIT IN SEPTEMBER!

We’re really proud to host The Men’s Pit Stop here at our community building - a fantastic initiative organised by Matt to give local men a relaxed place to meet, chat, have a coffee and enjoy some cake.

The second Pit Stop recently welcomed around 16 men through the door, with familiar faces returning and some new faces joining for the first time.

There’s no agenda.
No pressure.
No need to talk about anything you don’t want to.

Just coffee, conversation, laughter and good company. ☕️🍰

As Matt says, you don’t need to be struggling or have a reason to come. You can simply grab a coffee, pull up a chair and see where the conversation takes you.

We love seeing our community building being used for initiatives like this and are delighted to support Matt as The Men’s Pit Stop continues to grow.
