Following the events of CMA Vectis this week we kick start the weekend (post breakfast) with a very special event, the Chris Denham Memorial Ride. Although this is not our event and is being hosted by the Mindset bros, there is due to be a big turn out of bikes and CMA Vectis will be present to show our support and join in too.
Please do join us at 15:00/15:30pm at the Traveller's Joy (85 Pallance Rd, Cowes PO31 8LS) for the ride out, following that there will then be evening events to celebrate Chris taking place back at the Traveller's Joy.
Look forward to seeing you there! 🙏🏍️

Good afternoon all! We have lots going on this week and look forward to seeing as many of you as possible as we are set to have a fulfilling time of fellowship in our various meet ups.
Firstly, please do join us on Thursday 4th June for our bi weekly workshop in 'The Quiet Room' at St John's Church on High Park road in Ryde (PO33 1BX). This month's study is 'Humble and Gentle'. Please see the attached resource kindly sourced from CMA USA who have put this together.
*Note to riders* There is parking available up the stone drive way but please be aware that the camber is a bit steep! There is also road parking should you prefer. Entrance to the Quiet Room is up the stone drive and in to the Church Hall (Church hall door's directly in front of you as you come up the drive).

June is PTSD Awareness Month

A Message for Us All
Post-Traumatic Stress (PTS) is something that many of us will experience at some stage in our lives. It can follow a distressing incident, a traumatic event, or a period of prolonged stress. In many cases, with time, support, and healthy coping strategies, those feelings gradually improve.
However, when those reactions persist, begin to affect daily life, relationships, sleep, work, or emotional wellbeing, it may develop into Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
For those of us who have worked in the Ambulance Service, Emergency Services, Armed Forces, Healthcare, or other caring professions, exposure to trauma can be an unfortunate reality of the job. The effects are not always obvious. Sometimes it is the colleague who has become quieter, the friend who no longer joins in, or the person who insists they are "fine."
Recognising the signs, talking openly, and seeking help early are not signs of weakness, they are signs of strength.
This PTSD Awareness Month, let's look out for one another, encourage conversations, and remind those who may be struggling that they do not have to face it alone.
Recovery is possible. Help is available.

Unfortunately, my recent experience demonstrates it still isn't taken seriously by some organisations, who choose to blame rather than help!
