There’s something rather special happening at Ryde Hive, and we are absolutely bursting to share it with you! 💛

We can’t say too much just yet, but what we can say is that it’s going to shine a wonderful light on Ryde Hive, what we do, and the amazing community that is growing around us.

🐝💛 HAPPY 60TH BIRTHDAY TO OUR AMAZING JEAN! 💛🐝

Today we’re celebrating a very special lady here at Ryde Hive… our wonderful Jean, or as we all know and love her, Jean Bean🥳🎂

Jean gives so much of her time, kindness and energy to Ryde Hive, and we honestly don’t know what we’d do without her. She’s always there to help, always ready for a laugh, and she’s become such a huge part of our little Hive family. 🐝💛

So please join us in wishing our beautiful Jeanie Beanie a VERY HAPPY 60TH BIRTHDAY! 🎉🎈

💛 JACE NEEDS OUR COMMUNITY AGAIN PLEASE 🙏🏻

Sadly, Jace has taken a turn for the worse. He has developed a severe skin infection and is now on antibiotics, Gabapentin and a feeding tube.

The £1,640 already paid to the vets has now been used for Jace’s current treatment, including his medication, feeding tube, stitch and the care he has needed.

We have another £152 going directly to the vets on Monday £82 in cash and £70 from Zeffy.

Unfortunately, Jace can no longer have his operation on Tuesday as planned. The vets need to get this infection under control first, and samples have been sent away for testing which could take 1–2 weeks.

So now we need to raise £2,000 again for Jace’s operation, ready for the moment the vets say he is well enough to have it.

🐾 WE NEED ANOTHER BIG COMMUNITY PUSH FOR JACE.

And please, whatever you believe in, prayer, Reiki, energy healing, the universe, positive thoughts or simply sending love, send it Jace’s way.

We need as much love and positive energy surrounding this beautiful boy as possible. 💛

Come on Jace. We’re all behind you. 🐾❤️

🎟️ Tickets are just £1 each, available every day from Ryde Thrift Hive.

On draw day, we’ll start with the smaller prizes and work our way up, with the final ticket drawn winning our biggest prize! 🏆 We already have £100 CASH amongst the fantastic prizes!

💛 Every penny raised goes straight back into Ryde Hive, helping us keep going AND move forward with our plans: opening our community area, developing the café and showers, creating survival rucksacks and doing even more to support our community.

We’ve got so much more we want to do, and every £1 ticket helps us get there. 🐝❤️
