The stocking appeal is having a two day cake and bake sale to raise funds to hopefully bring this year’s appeal to a successful finish!
For the first time, St Mary’s primary school is joining us so some of their children will receive some of these precious gifts , that brings the total of Ryde primary schools to 6.
I will be at Royal Victoria Arcade on Saturday (10th) and Sunday (11th) with lots of home baked cakes, traybakes, sausage rolls, quiches and spicy tomato soup with sourdough croutons!!!!! All proceeds will help fill the stockings very soon!
As we approach the schools autumn half term I need to reach out and ask for donations from the gift list , I will be collecting any items all weekend at the arcade, it will really help this important local cause if you are able to help in any way! Thank you. 🙏

At Sunday’s market I will also be bringing PrettyThings by Anastasia with lots of lovely gifts for your own Christmas, Julia Gardner , new to the island, Julia will be showing her beautiful art for the first time here, lots of other shops and stalls will be there, it’s a busy weekend ahead!!!!
Thank you as always for your continued support and help ! 😍

More books have arrived for the stockings!

16/09/2026

Some of the reading books for the stockings have arrived, they look nice! Some are semi educational but fun and others are full on fiction, I hope the children will be excited to open them up and have a look through the pages!
Lots more will be arriving in the next few days/weeks along with other gifts too, I’m excited! 🤗
This is what I buy with the money raised from the many cake sales and donations, i’ll keep showing you as things arrive so you can see how your money is spent!
Thank you as always for following, supporting and donating! xx

I would like to say a huge thank you to John and Tracey for their continued support and for always providing space for The Ryde Christmas Stocking Appeal to sell our cakes in order to raise precious funds for this year’s Xmas stockings.
This weekend we were at their barn sale at Appuldurcombe Farm, it was so busy we had sold out by 2pm on Saturday and had to go home to bake some more for Sunday!
It’s been an amazing weekend for the stocking funds, thank you so much for the opportunity. 🙏

We’ll be back at the Royal Victoria Arcade soon to sell some more!

Please also follow The Royal Victoria Arcade to see all events and fixtures there !

All I can say is why didn’t anyone buy the camel 🐪??? 😊
