119 years since the very first experimental Scout camp pitched up on Brownsea Island, Dorset.

We’re so proud of everything our volunteers have done since then to give young people a place to belong. Thank you to you all! 🙌

Last week our squirrels, accompanied by members of Rugeley Town Council took to the streets of Rugeley to carry out a litter pick!

This was an activity chosen by our fantastic squirrels as a part of their community impact badge. They worked exceptionally hard despite the heat to pick up as much litter as possible.

Thank you to the council members who joined us, and the library for allowing us to use their litter pickers.

Well done squirrels! ⚜️

A reminder that our July history walk is coming upand places are going fast. 🌿

Bob and John lead a guided walk of the Beaudesert grounds every month, taking in the full history of this extraordinary site from its origins as the ancestral home of the Marquis of Anglesey.

With nine brand new heritage boards now installed, there's more to discover than ever.

Happy Father's Day to all of the Dads! The new dads, veteran dads, step dads, foster dads, single dads, a dad who has lost a child, or celebrating a dad who we have lost, the men who will one day be a dad, Scout leaders and Scouting dads or celebrating your own father figure, today is all about recognizing the mentors and role models who guide us on life's adventures!

2nd Rugeley scouts have had quite the past few weeks

From one week of pioneering that quickly turned into playing in the liquid sunshine, to the next week spent in glorious evening sunshine learning about nature - our Scouts always make the most of whatever the weather brings.
Whether they're building, splashing, listening, or noticing the things they can see and hear outdoors, they're always discovering something new.
