Diolch enfawr i’r Rhwydwaith Gwrth-Dlodi am gymryd y fenter, bwrw ymlaen â hyn, a’i gwneud hi’n bosibl cael Rheilen Cotiau Rhad ac Am Ddim ym Marchnad Caerfyrddin. Pan mae cymunedau’n tyfu’n gryfach gyda’i gilydd, mae’r heriau’n cael eu rhannu, a’r atebion hefyd.

Huge thanks to the Anti-Poverty Network for taking the initiative, driving this forward, and making it possible to have a Free Coat Rail at Carmarthen Market. When communities grow stronger together, challenges become shared, and so do the solutions.

Ein siaradwr olaf iw Ben Reynolds!
Our final speaker is Ben Reynolds! Come and learn about the pioneering work Ben and are leading in Wales!

Ben is the founder and Director of Urban Foundry Swansea’s first BCorp which he developed alongside award-winning social enterprises. He is Entrepreneur in Residence, & Expert in Residence at Swansea University & a Big Ideas Wales Role Model for Welsh Government. Ben is a certified member of the Market Research Society, a fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts. He has developed projects in public space such as street markets, live music and art events, and pop-up parks, as well as pioneering Meanwhile/Pop-up uses in empty buildings in Wales. This work has been included and informs Welsh Government’s programme for government and its Transforming Towns funding streams.

Ben yw sylfaenydd a Chyfarwyddwr BCorp cyntaf Urban Foundry Abertawe. Mae Ben wedi’i sefydlu a ddatblygu mentrau cymdeithasol arobryn ac wedi gwasanaethu ar fyrddau amrywiol fentrau di-elw. Mae’n Entrepreneur Preswyl ac yn Arbenigwr Preswyl ym Mhrifysgol Abertawe ac mae hefyd yn Fodel Rôl Syniadau Mawr Cymru i Lywodraeth Cymru. Mae hefyd yn Aelod Ardystiedig o’r Gymdeithas Ymchwil Marchnad, yn gymrawd o Gymdeithas Frenhinol y Celfyddydau. Mae wedi datblygu prosiectau mewn mannau cyhoeddus fel marchnadoedd stryd, cerddoriaeth fyw a digwyddiadau celf, a pharciau dros dro, yn ogystal ag arloesi defnyddiau Cyfamser/Noddros dro mewn adeiladau gwag yng Nghymru. Mae’r gwaith hwn wedi’i gynnwys ac yn llywio rhaglen Llywodraeth Cymru ar gyfer y llywodraeth a’i ffrydiau ariannu Trawsnewid Trefi.

Ein trydydd cyflwynwr iw .laura o !
Our third speaker is .laura from !

Laura is a co-founder of SERO Carmarthen’s community environment centre, where she leads on events and programme. SERO hosts The Incredible Seed Library - an amazing community resource harvesting and sharing seeds as part of their commitment to what a local sustainable agriculture movement needs. Laura is also a member of the Wales Seed Hub as a producer of a commercial seed and is a director at Glasbren, a CSA farm in Llansteffan.

When Laura isn’t leading on community and climate issues in Carmarthen her happy place is at home with her family, animals and garden. She loves everything about food - growing it, cooking it and bringing people I love together around a table. Through her life and work as either an independent funeral celebrant or as a community leader in our local climate movement she hopes to be a good ancestor to the future generations and to this land we are privileged enough to be able to call home.

Mae Laura yn gyd-sylfaenydd canolfan amgylcheddol gymunedol SERO Caerfyrddin, lle mae hi’n arwain ar ddigwyddiadau a’r rhaglen. Mae SERO yn cynnal Y Llyfrgell Hadau Anhygoel – adnodd cymunedol gwych sy’n casglu ac yn rhannu hadau fel rhan o’u hymrwymiad i’r hyn sydd ei angen ar fudiad amaethyddiaeth gynaliadwy lleol.

Mae Laura hefyd yn aelod o Hwb Hadau Cymru fel cynhyrchydd hadau masnachol, ac yn gyfarwyddwr yn Glasbren, fferm CSA yn Llansteffan.

Pan nad yw Laura’n arwain ar faterion cymunedol a hinsawdd yng Nghaerfyrddin, ei lle hapus yw gartref gyda’i theulu, ei hanifeiliaid a’i gardd. Mae hi’n caru popeth am fwyd – ei dyfu, ei goginio a dod â phobl mae hi’n eu caru ynghyd o amgylch bwrdd.

Drwy ei bywyd a’i gwaith, boed fel gweinydd angladdau annibynnol neu fel arweinydd cymunedol yn ein mudiad hinsawdd lleol, mae hi’n gobeithio bod yn hynafiad da i genedlaethau’r dyfodol ac i’r tir hwn rydym yn ddigon ffodus i’w alw’n gartref.

Heather Young founded Paris Refugee Ground Support, a humanitarian distribution and coordination initiative. With six years of frontline experience in the refugee crisis, her work in high-pressure environments gave her a deep understanding of resilience and dignity in the face of crisis. Her motivation lies in creating systemic change, moving beyond emergency response to influence policies that ensure refugees are treated with respect and dignity. Now based in rural West Wales, Heather is applying her expertise to support rural communities. She aims to bridge the gap between global political dynamics and local realities, advocating for fair treatment and equitable opportunities. She is committed to empowering marginalized groups and building stronger, more resilient communities in her region.

Bellach wedi’i lleoli yng nghefn gwlad Gorllewin Cymru, mae Heather yn defnyddio ei harbenigedd i gefnogi cymunedau gwledig. Ei nod yw pontio’r bwlch rhwng deinameg wleidyddol fyd-eang a realiti lleol, gan eiriol dros driniaeth deg a chyfleoedd cyfartal. Mae hi wedi ymrwymo i rymuso grwpiau sydd wedi’u hymylu ac adeiladu cymunedau cryfach a mwy gwydn yn ei rhanbarth.

Daniel also has a background in the agricultural sector, as youth Ambassador of the global Nextgen Ag Impact Network, promoting global youth involvement in agriculture. As a Freshwater ecologist for Natural Resources Wales (NRW) he has delivered a range of large-scale routine ecological monitoring programmes and river restoration projects. He is a member of Future Generations Leadership Academy and My Life My Say Squad. He is also the co-founder of Gwneud, a youth-led organisation helping companies in Wales to collaborate more effectively, align their strategies with the Wellbeing of Future Generations Act, and highlight changemaker stories.

Mae gan Daniel gefndir yn y sector amaethyddol hefyd, fel Llysgennad ieuenctid Rhwydwaith Effaith Amaethyddol Nextgen byd-eang, gan hyrwyddo cyfranogiad ieuenctid byd-eang mewn amaethyddiaeth. Fel ecolegydd Dŵr Croyw i Gyfoeth Naturiol Cymru (CNC) mae wedi cyflawni ystod o raglenni monitro ecolegol rheolaidd ar raddfa fawr a phrosiectau adfer afonydd. Mae’n aelod o Academi Arweinyddiaeth Cenedlaethau’r Dyfodol a Sgwad Fy Mywyd Fy Nweud. Mae hefyd yn gyd-sylfaenydd Gwneud, sefydliad dan arweiniad ieuenctid sy’n helpu cwmnïau yng Nghymru i gydweithio’n fwy effeithiol, alinio eu strategaethau â Deddf Llesiant Cenedlaethau’r Dyfodol, ac amlygu straeon newidwyr.

These groups; Anti-Poverty Network, Climate Democracy, Social Justice and Young People emerged from the three Compostio Sessions that we held in January, February and March.
Our first Social Justice open meeting is taking place next Monday (27/4/2026), from 12:30PM-1:30PM at the LocalMotion studio, 8-10 WoodsRow, Carmarthen SA31 1BX.

These portraits will be in response to the things you learn about in the session, a beautifully sewn mini doughnut. This workshop will be headed by Louise Bird, a member of the LocalMotion Assembly and local Textile artist. No experience is needed, and materials and templates will be provided.
Stop in, call in for a chat, meet the team, have a cuppa!
