Our new Christmas cards are selling well, they cost £4 for a pack of 5. If you attend a social group or if you're attending our AGM next week, you can pick up a pack there.

Our welcoming and supportive social group in Sheffield is for anyone living with an asbestos related disease, including family and carers. Complimentary lunch, tea and coffee provided whilst you chat to other attendees and staff.

We also have Alison Hart from The Asbestos Law Partnership LLP who will be on hand to answer any civil claim questions you may have.

Yesterday, we received a small grant that will support three of our monthly social group meetings in Sheffield. We run a monthly social group in 4 other locations too - Hull, Doncaster, Bradford and York. That's a grand total of 60 social group meetings per year that we need to find the funding for! These groups are such an important element of SARAG's work - one of our Bradford group regulars gave us this quote about how the meetings help them.

Do you know someone who has been diagnosed with an asbestos related disease? Would they like to meet and chat to other people that are in the same boat? If so, please share details of our friendly and welcoming social group in Hull next Tuesday 20th October 12-2pm!

One of our Benefits Advisors, Ruth, will be joining us to answer questions about benefits and our free will writing service, plus a solicitor from Leigh Day to answer any legal/ civil claims queries.

Lung nurses also join us when they can!
