Opening Up to New Members
Following the proposal at this year’s AGM, we’re pleased to confirm that membership is now open to all East London Delivery Office staff.
This change is long overdue. Since joining the Carers Committee, it’s become clear that we need to grow our membership — especially with over 400 lucky numbers still available. We feel expanding to East London is the natural next step.
What this means...
All East London DO's will now be fully included in our activities and communications.
We plan to extend our monthly draw roadshows to East London offices so we can meet potential new members directly.
This expansion should help us increase membership quickly and strengthen the committee’s presence across the wider area.
Why now
Since at least 2012, when East London offices came under Romford’s footprint. The East London Community Care Club Folded and they may have been feeling overlooked or forgotten. This decision is our chance to put that right — to reconnect, rebuild, and bring everyone under the one inclusive membership.
We’re looking forward to welcoming our new/old colleagues and growing the community together.
