Tomorrow’s the big day! 🚴‍♂️

We’ll be cheering on James Brennan, Head of Healthcare Sales at CBRE UK, as he takes on an incredible challenge cycling from London to Amsterdam!

James is part of a team of 12 from CBRE GWS Healthcare who will cycle an impressive 280km over three days in support of their corporate charity. As the organiser of the ride, James has also chosen to raise funds for our charity, and we’re incredibly grateful for his support.

The team will set off from CBRE’s London Bridge office, with one of their first stop-offs being King George Hospital. Keep an eye on our Stories tomorrow for some live updates!👀

James has put in countless hours of training to prepare for this challenge, and every donation will help make a difference.

As part of Volunteers' Week, we'd like to say thank you to all of our corporate volunteers who donate their time, skills and energy to help us make a difference for patients, families and staff across our hospitals.

Whether it's supporting events, taking on practical projects or helping behind the scenes, your support has a huge impact on our charity.

A special thank you to the fantastic team at CBRE UK , who have been incredible supporters in recent months. Most recently, they helped us tackle the huge job of clearing and organising our storage containers – a task that will make a real difference to our day-to-day operations.

A huge thank you to the team at Wickes Chadwell Heath for their generous donation to support our beautiful Lavender Garden at Queen’s Hospital through their Community Programme.

Thanks to their kindness, our dedicated garden volunteers, Martyn and Darren, now have new gardening tools to help maintain and improve this space. The Lavender Garden provides a peaceful area for patients, families and staff to take some time away, especially now the sunshine has arrived.☀️

What an incredible weekend we had at the London Marathon!👟

We’re still buzzing after an amazing day cheering on our runners who gave it absolutely everything out on the streets of London. The dedication, determination, and heart they showed was truly inspiring – we couldn’t be prouder of each and every one of them.

Ollie, Chloe, Barbara and Gemma, you are all legends!

Thank you to everyone who donated and supported them along the way, your generosity and encouragement make a real difference and help turn every mile into something even more meaningful.
