Baby Loss Awareness Month 🤍🕊️

October marks Baby Loss Awareness Month.

Here at Summers Events & Keepsakes, this cause is very close to our hearts. After a long journey trying to conceive, we were blessed with our beautiful daughter who we treasure every single day. Last year, we were overjoyed to be expecting her little sister, but sadly it wasn’t meant to be. Our precious Lottie was born sleeping, and she will always be a part of our family.

Baby loss affects more families than many realise. I think of it as the club no one ever wants to be part of, something rarely spoken about until it happens to you.

Throughout October, we would like to offer free digital prints to bereaved parents – a small gesture to help bring comfort and light to others walking this heartbreaking path.

We ask you to join us in taking a moment to light a candle, pause, and remember all the little ones gone too soon, and the families who carry them forever in their hearts. 🤍✨

July is Bereaved Parents Month — a time to honour the little lives that ended far too soon, and the families who carry them in their hearts every single day.

We talk to our daughter Lottie every day. She sits up on her little shelf, watching over us, and we include her in the moments that matter. Saying her name keeps her close. So we say it often, proudly: Lottie Star Summers.

Not a day goes by that we don’t think of her or wonder who she would be today. By now, she might be sitting up, finding her balance, maybe even trying to take her first wobbly steps. She would have been almost nine months old.

We hope no parent ever has to feel the deep heartache of losing a child. But sadly, so many do — and too often, in silence.

This page is your space as much as ours. A place where stories can be shared, names can be spoken, and your Angels can be remembered without hesitation or judgment. You are not alone. We stand with every family missing a child today, and every day. 🤍

In memory of our daughter, Lottie Star, who was stillborn on October 13th, 2024, we created Lottie’s Legacy in Print to support other families enduring the unimaginable loss of a child.

In just three months, we’ve had the honor of creating over 500 memorial prints, each one a tribute to a precious little life gone too soon. These prints are completely free of charge, fully personalized to reflect your child’s memory — you can choose your own image and meaningful quote. We will also lovingly honor your child on our page as a lasting tribute.

Beyond creating keepsakes, we want this page to be a safe space for parents who have experienced loss — a place where you can share your story, speak openly about your journey, and connect with others without fear of judgment or prejudice.
