We were invited to High Wycombe library to exhibit our expertise and knowledge towards brain health, dementia prevention and the impact of quality early education.
It was great meeting the young children through to adults and elderly community members who were keen to learn our take on brain health and child development. As well as just playing with our instruments and sensory equipment.

Sensory Connection: The Language That Spans a Lifetime.

At Rokil, we’ve always believed that sensory engagement- rhythm, melody, and purposeful play is a universal language.
We took the same principles we use every day to support developing young minds and applied them within a local care home setting. Resulting in a beautiful, cross-generational bridge built on shared creativity and connection.
It turns out, what supports the developing brain can have a profound impact on the aging brain too.

So we are glad to share on the importance of quality early education as well as these parallels at the Dementia Action Day next week.

When a child “socially masks,” they are spending all their cognitive energy just trying to look “normal” or “compliant.”
The result? They have zero energy left for actual learning. This leads to the cycle of academic anxiety and school avoidance that so many families and schools are struggling with right now.

It’s Autism Acceptance Week, and we know that thousands of children in our county are currently sitting on multi-year waiting lists for neurodevelopmental support.
