Many thanks to Rochdale Islamic Academy for Boys (RIAB) for inviting High Level Northern Trust's Community Engagement officer to speak with their students about addiction, substance misuse, and recovery.

Waffa shared his own experiences of addiction and recovery, and the students had the opportunity to ask questions and have open and honest conversations. It was a lively and engaging session, and we were encouraged by the interest and participation from the young people.

A big thank you to everyone at RIAB for their warm hospitality and welcome. JazakAllah khair. We hope to visit again soon, insha'Allah.

This is exactly what we want to see more of – bringing these conversations into our schools, mosques, and community spaces, helping to raise awareness and challenge stigma.

🌟 RRC Monthly Meeting Update! 🌟

This week, the RRC came together for our latest monthly meeting, and there was plenty of excitement in the room as we started planning for Recovery Month! 💜

One of the highlights will be a Music & Information Event, bringing people together through live music and information about the support and opportunities available within our recovery community.

New sound bath sessions at High Level starts next Thursday!
