A message from the CW Wildlife Rescue Trustees:

As many of you are aware, Chris has made the decision to retire and step away from CW Wildlife Rescue. As a result, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily close the rescue with immediate effect. This means th

at we will be transferring our existing patients to different rescue centres and closing our doors for the time being. We understand that this will come as a surprise to many of you. Ultimately, we have a duty of care to the animals on site. We cannot look after these animals and cater to their needs without a manager present on a daily basis. We are unable to answer phone calls, respond to messages or take any new admissions at this time. We would like to thank you for your support over the past few years. We have been absolutely overwhelmed with your kindness and generosity. We wish Chris a happy retirement. We are eternally grateful for the animals that he has helped, the knowledge he has shared and the passion he has shown. We will release further updates in due course. Thank you for your understanding.

We are a non-profit wildlife rescue organisation, helping make the world around us a better, happier place. Our purpose in life, is to help heal and protect the wonderful wildlife we see around us every day.

With the help of our tireless staff, we organise fund-raisers, community-building events, and in-depth training sessions for our volunteers. Unfortunately, the cost of this healing and protecting isn’t cheap.
