Visit North Yorkshire is the new tourism support organiisation from North Yorkshire Council, aimed at supporting and growing the county’s visitor economy. A new website is launching this April with a dedicated Richmond page and the VNY team are very keen to support the town.

They will be at The Station this coming Monday (17th February) between 10am and 2pm - just drop in when you can fit it in. It's a good chance to meet the team and find out how you can work with them and make the most of the new tourism framework.

Excellent result all round! The first winners of Amazing Neighbours helping out a wonderful community organisation Foundation Richmond.

We were pleased to have Donald Cline and David Walker from the Richmond Yorkshire
Community Interest Company visit earlier this month. They were here to present us a donation from the first winners of The RYCIC Amazing Neighbours, and to find out a bit more about our work here.
The lovely winners showed just how amazing they are by donating the £100 prize, in the form of £10 Co-op vouchers, to the residents here at The Galleries.

Here's David, presenting the vouchers to Paul, our Housing Management Assistant.

Amazing Neighbours is our first project. Richmond is renowned for being a friendly, caring community and we all know people who go out of their way to help; no matter how big or small the favour. Sometimes saying thank-you simply isn't enough, so if you have an amazing neighbour this is your chance to celebrate them! They can even win a prize... find out more at: https://www.amazingneighbours.com/
