When your CO supports Chelsea but you’re a Sunderland supporter you have to take the opportunity to show your colours wherever you can!

We recently discovered this photograph of CO Lt Col Patrick Robert’s (seated second from left) and Col Sgt Keith ‘Frogger’ Northey (standing behind him). Thanks go to the Green Howards Association for confirming the names of the soldiers in the photograph. We believe it was likely taken in the Officers Mess during a tour of West Belfast, Northern Ireland 2000-2001. Let us know if that’s not correct in the comments and we’ll update the photo record!

Soldiers in the photograph (left to right):

RSM Tony O’Conner, CO & Lt Col Patrick Robert, Col Sgt Keith ‘Frogger’ Northey (standing left), Adjutant Johnny Aisbett and LCpl Prosser (standing right, acting as a Mess waiter).
