Rhyl Community Association is a thriving multi-centre community resource that provides a wide range of services, activities and meeting spaces for people of all ages and are used by many disabled clients. About Us
How the Rhyl Community Association started
In July 1980 the discussion by Rhyl Town Councillors led to the establishment of Rhyl Community Association (RCA). The constitution of the Association was added on the 5th July 1995 with the premises held in the names of the Trustees. A lease was agreed with Rhyl Town Council to occupy the first floor office accommodation at Wellington Community Centre in September 1993.

The Centres are used by Community Groups and cater for all ages from the youth to senior citizens and are used by many disabled clients.

The members of the RCA are drawn from community groups as well as elected council members. Some of the Trustees and other members have been involved for many years.

The Association is able to call on the following specialists to assist the Trustees:- Gamlins Solicitors; Abergele Insurance; SAGE Accountants and are members of the Denbighshire Voluntary Services Council.
