St Convals Under 8's Purple team 🟣

Thank you again to all the girls and families coming down on the october week weekend supporting our girls and giving them the opportunity to play some football.

In our first game against Renfrew the girls worked their socks off and put in a great perfomance. Passing the ball about for some nice team goals aswell as some great individual goals. Well done to Alyah for scoring multiple goals (ran out of fingers) l and Jessica/Chloe for their goals too. 👏👏

Next up we played Bishopton, this was a close game. We weren't able to get the passing going so chances were few and far between, but the girls still worked hard and Kallie was able to get a goal 👏👏

In our final game we played port glasgow, the girls went behind through a good port goal but were creating lots of chances. The girls heads didnt drop and chances kept coming for Jessica & Chloe to grab a goal. 👏👏

Player of the week went to Alyah 👏👏 not only scoring lots of goals ⚽⚽ but being involved in all our attacking play with great passing and positioning. Her confidence on the pitch has came on loads this year and now a real voice on the pitch too 👏👏

(Ran out of characters to add this to first post)

Under 14’s purples V Easterhouse

2–2 DRAW! 🩷💜⚽️

What a performance against Easterhouse today! 👏🏼

The last time we played them, it was a bit of a mismatch and ended in a heavy defeat. But months down the line, the improvement in these girls was clear for everyone to see.

We found ourselves 2–0 up going in at half time and were really unlucky not to hold on for the win. Every single girl gave absolutely everything out there, and all the coaches couldn’t be prouder of the performance they put in today. ❤️

The improvement, effort and determination these girls continue to show is incredible. They never stop fighting and they never give up! 💪🏼

⭐ POTM — TARI ⭐

A well-deserved Player of the Match for Tari today! 🏆

She was solid at the back, making some huge tackles and always staying super calm on the ball. She picked out some fantastic passes to her teammates and played a massive part in today’s performance.

What a performance from every single one of you today. So proud! 🩷💜⚽️

Under 14’s Reds V Houston

5–2 WIN! 🩷💜⚽️

A tough first half saw us 1–0 down for the majority of it. Houston were tough competition today and much improved from the first game we played against them.

If it wasn’t for some great saves from Ava, it could have been an even tougher comeback for us. We had severe wind in our faces in the first half and just couldn’t get into any rhythm, but the girls still battled hard and never stopped working.

At half-time, we had a team talk and the girls came out fired up! 🔥 They took the lead straight away and, after that, settled down, got their passing going and never looked back.

The effort and determination these girls show for each other is amazing. They never stop, never give up, and they always fight for one another. 💪🏼

A brilliant second-half performance saw us finish with a 5–2 win! 👏🏼🩷💜

⭐ POTM — MAISIE ⭐

Our skipper led by example today. She covered every part of the pitch, battled for everything, stayed calm on the ball and picked out some fantastic passes.

The smallest player on the pitch most weeks, but she always has the biggest heart. ❤️

The whole team appreciate everything you give — keep it up, skipper! 🩷💜

Proud of every single one of you. 👏🏼⚽️
