Morning everyone, had a great meeting last night with the SICN we discussed a new and professional platform which if you sign up will probide the recognition as being a regulated, fully checked private carer. Its the National Register of Independent Carers. (NRIC). It should be up and running in the next few weeks. Exciting times 😊 You sign up and they check all your credentials, skills etc so when care seekers need assurance of you ability and safety to work you can sign post them to this. Brilliant 👏🏽

Welcome to all our new members. Just wanted to say that I am so pleased how things are progressing and hope that we can build the momentum and get care seekers the best care they so deserve. Please do join us at our weekly meeting to get a feel for where we are at. I can see a vision of independent self employed carers through this community being the first point to turn to before big expensive care agencies. I'm very excited 😊

Welcome the Surrey Independent Care Network - We (Care seekers & Care workers) have been meeting every week for 9 months to think how we can create a better place for care & information connection in Surrey and we have come up with this......

1. An open facebook group where people can share info & availability - https://www.facebook.com/groups/surreyicn - we liked what they did in West Sussex (https://www.facebook.com/groups/1877545195998994)
