🌸 Baby Loss Awareness Week: Redcar Seafront Ribbon Display & Wave of Light 🌸

As Baby Loss Awareness Week approaches, we are coming together once again to honor and remember all our precious babies gone too soon.

🎗️The Ribbon Display🎗️
Our ribbon display will be returning to its usual spot on the Redcar seafront, directly opposite The Park Hotel.

💫Add your own ribbon: You are very welcome to bring and attach your own ribbon with your baby’s name on it.
💫Pick up a ribbon: You can pop into The Park Hotel and ask behind the bar for a ribbon.
💫Have one made for you: If you aren't able to make one yourself, I would be deeply honored to write and place a ribbon for you—just drop me a message.

🕯️Wave of Light – Thursday , 15th October🕯️
This year, the wonderful team at The Park Hotel has kindly given us a room to use for the global Wave of Light on October 15th.
The room will be open from 6:00 PM, before the official Wave of Light begins at 7:00 PM.
You are all invited to join us on the seafront to light a candle at the ribbon display.
Please feel free to come along early to:
Grab a warm cup of tea☕️
Collect a candle for the evening 🕯️
Write your ribbon if you haven't had the chance yet🎗️
Whether you wish to share memories, find quiet reflection, or simply stand alongside others who understand, you are so welcome here. No one has to walk this path alone 🕯️💫🤍

💙 Grief can look different for dads.
Sometimes it’s quiet. Sometimes it’s hidden behind work, routines, or trying to stay strong for everyone else.

But strength does not mean silence.

Many bereaved dads carry overwhelming grief while feeling unsure where they fit in conversations around loss. They deserve space to talk, to cry, to remember, and to be supported too.

To every dad carrying the weight of loss in silence we see you. Your grief matters. Your love matters. Your child matters. 💙

On Saturday, 16th of May, we will be celebrating Hattie’s 3rd heavenly birthday. While our hearts carry her with us every single day, we would love to fill this special day with as much light and love as she brought into our lives. 💖🦋
We invite our friends and family to join us in honoring her memory. Whether it’s lighting a candle at home or performing a simple random act of kindness in her name, If you do take part please tag me in your photos or stories so we can see the beautiful ways Hattie is being remembered. 🕯️✨
