🎉🐿️ What a fantastic evening celebrating Squirrels’ 5th Birthday at Marske Scout Hut! 🐿️🎉

We had SO much fun together – from 👑 crown making and 🍪 decorating biscuits, to 🎁 pass the parcel and 🏕️ den building! Of course, we couldn’t forget our 🎶 singing too!

It was brilliant to come together with all the other Squirrels from across the East Cleveland district – so many smiles, laughs, and happy faces all in one place! 💛

What an amazing way to kick off our summer term 🌞

We’re back to normal next week at the Scout Hut – see you then, Squirrels! 🐿️

Despite the very wet weather, our Beavers had a fantastic time taking part in air rifle shooting this week! 🌧️🎯

A huge thank you to the County Target Sports Team for delivering such a safe, engaging and enjoyable activity. The Beavers loved learning new skills, improving their aim, and trying something completely different.

It’s great to see our young people embracing new challenges and showing such enthusiasm, whatever the weather throws at us!

Monday Night is Bingo Night at Loftus Scout Hut. 🎉⚜️🔢

See you tomorrow for a fabulous family-friendly prize bingo raising funds for 1st Loftus Scouts.

We've already got some amazing prizes, including big vouchers from Holeymolies, Everyone Active, Floralcraft, and many more!

Join us from 6pm tomorrow to round off the bank holiday weekend with some big prizes!

🌸🦋 An Amazing Evening with Our Squirrels! 🦋🌸

This evening our Squirrels had a wonderful time exploring the flower park 🌼🌿

We started by saying a very special goodbye to our butterflies 🦋 The children each had the chance to gently hold them before we set them free – such a magical and memorable experience for everyone! ✨

After that, we went on a letter hunt around the park 🔤 The children worked brilliantly as a team to find all the letters and bring them back together to spell “BUTTERFLY” – fantastic teamwork and problem-solving! 👏

Next up… 🐞🔍 BUG HUNT!
The Squirrels split into teams and searched high and low, discovering an amazing 12 bugs in total! We also chatted about how important butterflies are to our ecosystem 🌍💚

To finish off our fun-filled evening, we played a classic game of “What time is it Mr Fox?” 🦊 – lots of laughter and energy to end the session!

What a brilliant evening full of learning, teamwork, and adventure 🌟

🌈 Have a wonderful half term and we will see you back on Wednesday 3rd June at Squirrels’ 5th birthday party! 🥳 Don’t forget your teddy 🧸

Just a reminder, we are running a prize bingo night at the Scout Hut on Monday evening, raising funds for 1st Loftus Scout Group.

We've already got some fabulous prizes, so make sure you come on down for a fun night and great prizes.

Cub camp lost property....
This coat and t-shirt did not get claimed at the end of camp.
We have left them at the scout hut so if you recognise them you can come and collect.
Cubs aren't on this week and then half term next week so if you need them in the next 2 weeks then come down on one of the other section nights to collect.
- Scouts Monday 6.30pm-8.15pm
- Beavers Tuesday 6pm-7.30pm
- Squirrels Wednesday 5pm-6pm

(Please be mindful that these sections might be out of the hut so may need to come beginning or end of their session)
