All three Cadet Forces were on the High Street today selling Poppies. Each Saturday their tins were feeling very heavy so hears hoping we can beat last years figures.

Thank you to the Cadets for being on the High Street and also the Veterans & Volunteers for manning the stands at the Supermarkets.

We are looking for more people to man the Supermarkets next year in the 2 1/2 weeks leading up to Remembrance Sunday. If you can any time, even a couple of hours, please email [email protected] with your name & phone number.

Thursday 6th November is the last evening for collecting your wreaths. They will NOT be available on Remembrance Sunday.

Thank you to Eric Howden & Steve Appleyard for attending Redcar Racing today to collect money for the Poppy Appeal.

The Mayor of Redcar and Cleveland will lead remembrance services next week.

There will be 23 services and wreath laying ceremonies as communities come together to remember all those who have served in the country’s military.
