🦭 Our first fundraiser — what a huge success! 🦭
We were delighted to be invited by the Northern Potters Association & Pixie Pots to their event this weekend at Hutchinson Hobbs Farm Shop in Yarm — and what a fantastic weekend it was!
Visitors got involved with modelling their very own seals out of clay, had a go at guessing the name of our squishy seal, enjoyed our activity sheet and entered our raffle, with some fantastic prizes generously donated by the wonderful pottery stallholders. 🏺🦭
It was so much fun, and we had some really interesting conversations with people from near and far. It was wonderful to hear how many people are concerned about the welfare of our local seals and are genuinely interested in our plans for seal care and conservation at South Gare.
A huge thank you to the Northern Potters Association for their incredibly kind invitation and to everyone who stopped by, got involved, donated and supported us. 💙
We’re so excited for what’s to come! 🦭🌊
