The Amy Robinson Foundation

The Amy Robinson Foundation It is founded in memory of our beautiful Amy who died suddenly and unexpectedly, aged 3 years old. Amy was the centre of our world.

πŸ’™ Who we are πŸ’™
The Amy Robinson Foundation is a charitable trust which aims to improve the lives of young people and support families affected by child bereavement. We want the foundation to create a lasting positive legacy for Amy, remembering the little girl we all love so much.

πŸ’™ What we do πŸ’™
The Amy Robinson Foundation awards grants to individuals, charities and community organisations that s

upport the foundation's aims. We have previously awarded grants to Child Bereavement UK, The Compassionate Friends, Riding for the Disabled and SUDC UK.

πŸ’™ Our focus for 2024 πŸ’™
In 2024 the foundation will focus on raising funds for SUDC UK, a charity which is dedicated to increasing awareness of sudden unexplained deaths in childhood and funding crucial research into the causes and prevention of SUDC. Over 40 children in England and Wales die every year without reason and SUDC UK advocates for the needs of families like ours affected by these tragedies. We are also looking to start to award grants to families who need counselling support following bereavement, we will keep you up to date on the progress of this.

πŸ’™ Fundraising πŸ’™
We have supporters participating in running events, hosting open gardens, running bake sales, art fairs and lots of other fun events. Thank you to everyone who has fundraised for the foundation and to everyone who has generously donated.

Day 6 - Withypool to Lynmouth- We did it!

A hard day weather-wise, with plenty of wind and rain to contend with, but we were joined by family and friends to keep us going. And perfectly timed the sun came out for us at the end β˜€οΈ

All for you Amy πŸ’™ οΏΌA truly special trek through a beautiful and very special part of the world, where we have some precious memories of time with you. We hope the funds raised will continue your legacy and helping others in your name 🌈

Always in our hearts πŸ’™

Good to all be reunited on Wednesday evening so the baton (rocks from Wembury beach!) could be passed to Becky, Laura and Laura.

A long day and some beautiful scenery across the Exmoor National Park. A big thank you to our support crew at the Tarr Steps πŸ’™πŸŒˆ
