Another fun textile session on Thursday. We created textile art using fabric, beads and sequins using needle and thread and framed our work. We are learning skills that will ultimately allow us to work on our own projects. All supplies provided by the Eco Skills Learning Centre and mainly donated.

In collaboration with Freely Fruity we went to Alexander Divine Children Hospice for a sibling event. We had great fun building Bird Boxes, willow bird feeders and even had a go at grafting an Apple tree to a rootstock. What an incredible place that gives incredible support to all the families.

Would you like to learn to sew? Our next monthly textile club is Thursday 19 February 6pm to 8 pm. Contact [email protected] if you would like to join us. This month we are making cushions inners/outers and learning to put in a zip. We have a wonderful variety of donated fabrics or bring your own.

Join our Textile Club at The Eco Skills Learning Centre. We run monthly sessions on the third Thursday of the month.
Our next session is on Thursday 19th February 6 pm to 8 pm.

Our first monthly Textile Club of the year starts on Thursday 15th January 6pm to 8 pm. A great chance for parents to bring their children to learn some basic sewing and design skills. This month is an opportunity to make and design your own tote bag. Contact [email protected] to book your place. No obligation to come every month but we are sure you will have so much fun that you won't be able to stay away!
