What a lovely day celebrating such a special milestone! Karen enjoyed a wonderful birthday surrounded by great company, laughter, and of course, a beautiful (and delicious!) cake 🎂💐
From the big reveal of the candles to cutting the cake and sharing the moment with friends, it was a celebration full of joy and smiles. The decorations and golden “70” made it extra special ✨

Our wonderful residents rolled up their sleeves and got involved in some biscuit baking fun! From measuring and mixing to cutting butter and sharing plenty of smiles and laughter, it was a lovely afternoon filled with teamwork, memories, and the sweet smell of baking. 🥰

🌼 Dementia Action Week – Garden Party Highlights 🌼
We had a truly lovely time attending a garden party at the beautiful Jubilee Sensory Garden to celebrate Dementia Action Week. Surrounded by greenery, fresh air, and great company, it was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to relax and connect.

Our residents enjoyed refreshments, conversation, and the peaceful atmosphere, with plenty of smiles shared throughout the day. The handmade blue and yellow forget-me-not flowers, a heartfelt symbol of dementia awareness, added a special touch to the occasion.

Today our residents enjoyed some hands-on gardening, and what a lovely session it was! 🌿
From potting plants to watering our garden beds, everyone got involved and embraced the joy of a little bit of soil and sunshine ☀️🌸 It was wonderful to see such teamwork, with residents and staff working together to care for our plants and bring our garden spaces to life.

We had a truly special time at Friends Place as we celebrated VE Day with a wonderful performance from The D-Day Dollies 🎶
Our residents enjoyed an afternoon filled with beautiful wartime songs, bringing back cherished memories and creating a lovely atmosphere across the home. There was plenty of singing along, clapping, and shared moments that made the day so meaningful ❤️
